College of Continuing Studies Scholarships

BSU College of Continuing Studies Scholarships and Transfer Scholarships

BSU offers several different opportunities for students to participate in scholarship programs. Some scholarships are focused on a particular major while others are open to all transfer students and are dependent on a student's scholastic achievements. 


Continuing Studies Paraprofessional Scholarship
$500.00 per semester*

The BSU College of Continuing Studies Paraprofessional Scholarship is $500.00 worth per course.  The scholarship is available to Continuing Studies students enrolled in CS online or night baccalaureate degree program in education. 

Students must submit a letter from their school district noting their employment status and job classification as either as a paraprofessional or paraeducator to the College of Continuing Studies.

*Please note: the scholarship is available during the 2024- 2025 academic year but may be renewed in future years.
 

Qualifications
Students must be enrolled in a Continuing Studies night or online education program (new or existing student)
Students must be actively working as a paraprofessional in a Massachusetts public school system
Students must be enrolled in at least one three-credit online or night class during the fall, spring or summer semester
Students must have completed the FASFA for the current academic year

Continuing Studies Stay Connected Scholarship
$500 per semester*


The College of Continuing Studies Stay Connected Scholarship of $500.00 per course scholarship will be available to incoming students enrolled in a Continuing Studies degree program who have completed the Massachusetts Reconnect program at one of the 15 Massachusetts public community colleges. New students who meet the requirements will automatically receive the scholarship.

Qualifications
Students must have successfully completed the Massachusetts Reconnect program [You must submit your Mass Reconnect Award letter to Continuing Studies]
Students must be enrolled in a Continuing Studies degree program
Students must be enrolled in at least one online or night three-credit course during the fall, spring or summer semester
Students must have completed the FASFA for the current academic year
